Raise Craze (Main Fundraiser)

Timeframe: November
Planning our main fundraiser for the school year. Currently we use the Raise Craze platform for fundraising.
Community Outreach
Committee Head: TBD
Timeframe: Year-round
Members will plan Movie Night (generally in late September or early October) and Trunk or Treat (late October). Members will coordinate these events and any additional events that might want to be planned to gather the GS community together.
Hospitality
Committee Head: TBD
Timeframe: Year-round
Members will coordinate many different days throughout the year. A non-inclusive list of possible duties:
Sneak a Peek: Provide dinner for the teachers prior to sneak a peek
Tears to Cheers: Provide light refreshments such as donuts/juice/fruit/muffins for Kindergator parents after drop off on the first day of school.
Watermelon Feed: Gather volunteers to purchase or get donated several watermelons to provide all students. Will coordinate date with Dr. Wheat and then ensure there will be enough volunteers to cut up and disperse watermelons.
Teacher Conference Meals: In the fall and spring, coordinate meals for teachers. Will use a signup genius for families to bring items for one meal and snacks for the few days of conferences
Field Day: Coordinate a healthy snack in the morning (usually a banana) and then a treat in the afternoon (usually a popsicle) for all students
"Special Days" for staff: Provide small gift baskets for Nurses Day, Counselors Day, Paraprofessionals Day (usually we purchase a lunch)
Spring Fling

Timeframe: Late April/Early May, planning throughout the year
Coordinate our annual school carnival to finish out the year.
Silent Auction
Committee Head: Stacy Velleca - auction@greenspringspta.com
Timeframe: Begin reaching out for donations in January, silent auction to be held week before spring fling
Held in conjunction with the Spring Fling. Duties include working with local businesses to donate items, setting up the online auction, and getting winners their prizes.
Secondary Fundraising

Timeframe: Year-round
Coordinate Dining to Donate options each month, promote BoxTops and Pogo Pass purchases
Yearbook
Committee Head: Cindy Newby - yearbook@greenspringspta.com
Timeframe: Year-round
Responsible for taking pictures, doing layouts, meeting deadlines and sales
5th grade Parent Committee:

Timeframe: Year-round
Made up of fifth-grade parents. Activities include fundraising to purchase a legacy gift and a fifth-grade celebration at the end of the year.
Spirit Wear
Committee Head: Katie Janasek - spiritwear@greenspringspta.com
Timeframe: Summer before school year thru October-ish
Works with the spirit wear vendor to choose designs and launch the sale at the beginning of the year.
Social Media/Website/Tech Support

Maintains website and social media presence. Posts updates on IG and FB as needed.
